Shipping
Policies
Our product orders are generally processed within 2 business
days.
Standard
shipment to US addresses is sent via 4th Class US Mail (book rate-media
mail) at no charge to the customer. Delivery time by USPS by
this method is from 1 to 4 weeks.
If
you do not choose a shipping method, we will ship your products
via 4th Class US Mail. All other forms of shipping are charged
at current shipping rates.
Priority
Mail shipments sent to US residents via USPS Priority Mail service
usually takes 3 business days to reach the customer.
Orders
to residents of Canada and Mexico are sent via Air Mail and generally
arrive within 7 business days. International orders are mailed
by global priority mail where possible and may take 1 to 3 weeks
depending on time taken at customs clearance.
Orders
placed or shipped during certain holiday periods and/or required
to pass through international postal services or Customs may experience
delays. Sakshar, Inc. will not be responsible for any delay by the
involved service provider.
Returns
Policy
Generally
we process returns and refunds only for items purchased from Sakshar.Com.
However,
defective products will be replaced if purchased from other distributors
when proof of purchase is provided.
Items,
either defective or non-defective, should be returned to Sakshar,
Inc. within 30 days of receipt of the product (s) for refund or
replacement, with a copy of original invoice provided with your
order.
Unless
otherwise stated, the customer is responsible for shipping charges
on all returned products.
- Defective
Items *: Returns involving defective products must be sent
via insured/certified mail for refund or replacement. We will
replace or refund the full amount (including shipping cost) upon
receiving all items with original packing accompanied by a copy
of invoice as appropriate.
- Non-defective
Items: Within 30 days of receipt of your shipment from Sakshar,
Inc., you may return the items to Sakshar, Inc., for any reason,
for refund. Refund will be sent or credited to your account after
deducting shipping charges. See special provisions for books and
CD ROMs as mentioned below.
Books must be returned in original condition (undamaged, unused,
and in resalable condition) for a refund as mentioned above.
CD-ROMs
products should be returned unopened (still in the plastic wrap)
in new condition with original packaging with all items. Opened
CD-ROMs will be subject to a restocking fee of 25% after deducting
the shipping costs.
Please
note that our CD ROMs are not currently functional on other operating
systems such as Mac, Unix. Also they are NOT compatible with Windows
2000.

* CD-ROMs
will not be considered defective if the system configuration of
customer's system does not meet the "System Requirements"
as listed in the product specifications namely: Intel Pentium Processor,
16MB RAM (32 MD recommended), 8X or higher CD-ROM drive, 16-bit
display, SoundBlaster 16 or compatible, Win95/98/ME/NT.
