CDROM Frequently Asked Questions. Here, you will find answers to
the most common questions asked by our customers. For further troubleshooting/clarification/information
please contact tech@sakshar.com.
Note:
In these answers we will follow a few shorthand conventions for
describing user-interface procedures. Learn Hindi CDROM and Learn
Gujarati CDROM will be called LH and LG respectively. Key combinations
will be presented like this: Ctrl+Alt+Delete,
which means that you should press and hold down the Control key,
the Alt key, and the Delete key at the same time. Menu selections
will be presented like this: File->Open,
which means that you should open the File menu, and then make the
Open selection.
- I
recently purchased the CD-ROM from you. I am using the Registration
ID provided on the enclosed REGISTRATION FORM. When I enter it
at the prompting at the start of CD, I receive message "Invalid
Code". I just cannot start my CD!
- How
do I install LH and LG CDROMs in my computer ?
- Why
does is say "16-bit Video Required" when I start the
CDROM ?
- The
CDROM goes into a loop when I insert into the CDROM drive. Why
?
- The
CDROM music/speech is not audible.
- The
"exercise" in the Fundamentals section is not printing
properly. Why ?

I
recently purchased the CD-ROM from you. I am using the Registration
ID provided on the enclosed REGISTRATION FORM. When I enter it at
the prompting at the start of CD, I receive message "Invalid
Code". I just cannot start my CD..!
Two
unique personalized numbers have been assigned to you:
1.
YOUR PERSONAL SECURITY CODE : This number begins with LH100..or
LG100.. It is provided in a rectangular box on the flap of the white
envelope, with printed licensing agreement text, in which the CD-ROM
and other items were sealed. The title on the envelope is: CD-ROM
SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT, You need to enter this number exactly
the way it is written, without any spaces. It is also case sensitive.
Please note this number in your instruction booklet and also other
safe place, so that it is readily available when asked for. This
is your personal confidential code. You will be asked for this number
when you are using the CD-ROM on a different computer and may be
asked randomly at any time. So guard it safely and do not give it
to any one else for unauthorized use, It is violation of the licensing
agreement between Sakshar, Inc. and you to provide this number to
other person.
2.
Registration ID: The Registration ID is printed on the invoice and
on the REGISTRATION FORM enclosed with the shipment. This number
begins with H or G. It is used for registering purchase of the product
and providing you any technical support that you may need. Additionally
it will also be used for sending you all the information about any
software upgrade, our new products and other special offers. It
is necessary to register your purchase, as a person using the software
may be other than the person purchasing the same. You may send your
registration to us by e-mail, on line at our web site www.sakshar.com
or by mailing the enclosed REGISTRATION FORM. If you have not registered
your purchase, please do so immediately, as technical support may
not be accessible without registration.

How
do I install LH and LG CDROMs in my computer?
The
LH and LG CDROMs have "Autorun" feature. There is NO need
to install any files on to your hard disk. Once you insert the LH/LG
CDROM in your CDROM drive, Win95 will automatically detect the CDROM
and it will start.
If
your "Autorun" is disabled, or due to some reason, the
CDROM does not load, you can run it by clicking "My Computer"
and your respective CDROM drive click on LH.EXE or LG.EXE to run
the CDROMs.

How
do I install LH and LG CDROMs in my computer?
The
LH and LG CDROMs have "Autorun" feature. There is NO need

Why
does it say "16-bit Video Required" when I start the CDROM?
The
LH and LG CDROMs are rendered in 16-bit graphics for higher quality.
Hence it will require atleast 16-bit/64K colors or more. Just click
the display icon on your Win95 Task bar. Change display property
to 640 x 480 High Color 16-bit or
600 x 800 High Color 16-bit.

Why
CDROM goes into a loop when I insert it into the CDROM
drive. Why?
The
LH and LG CDROMs are designed for running on a specific computer
configuration. Please make sure that your computer system has the
minimum requirements for the CDROM. It is printed on the back of
the CDROM jewel case and also in the User Booklet.
This
will happen when you have an older CDROM drive. You will require
atleast 8X CDROM drive, a 16X or better is recommended.

The
CDROM music / speech is not audible.
Check
audio driver setting and the Win95 configuration for your particular
sound card. If other sounds from Win95 are heard and it only happens
when LH and LG is started, it happens, make sure you have a sound
blaster compatible sound card, if the problem persists, contact
our technical support.

The
exercise in the Fundamentals section is not printing properly. Why?
The
exercise is meant for printing at 300 dpi preferably on an InkJet/BubbleJet/Laser
or other high quality printer. Also the page setup by default is
A4 size. You can change the settings of the printer
when the windows printer dialog box appears.
