Sakshar, Inc. is an organization dedicated to providing its customers with the best of Indian Languages in the form of various products including Books, Texts, Multimedia Interactive CDROMs, Guides and much more.

Sakshar, Inc. was founded by Mr. Kirit N Shah, who is also CEO of the company, in line with his vision to preserve the Indian languages in their purest form. He has dedicated since 1978 most of his time to this noble cause, and is constantly in search of like minded individuals, corporations, products and services. Sakshar, Inc. has a team of dedicated people who generate products that teach the right language. With products such as the Learn Gujarati Book, Learn Gujarati CDROM, Learn Hindi Book and Learn Hindi CDROM already on the world market, Sakshar, Inc. is planning to roll out a host of other language related products in the months ahead.

In addition to the production and sale of Indian language products, Sakshar, Inc. is also active in providing services in areas of Astrology, Numerology and Palmistry with its Stars ‘N� U subsidiary and health issues through subsidiary Ayurveda4u.org.

Our CEO - Mr. Kirit N. Shah

Kirit Nathalal Shah was born in Ahmedabad, in the same room where Mahatma Gandhiji frequently stayed prior to establishing the Sabarmati Ashram. Mr. Shah's relatives, neighbors and school teachers were directly associated with Mahatma Gandhiji and were strongly influenced by the Gandhian principles. Thus, he was raised in an environment very conducive to Gandhian philosophy from early childhood.

By age eleven, Mr. Shah was teaching Gujarati and Hindi languages to younger students. His command of languages won him numerous prizes and honors in debating and literary competitions. He was a government scholar throughout both his school and college. He obtained a Bachelor's degree from Gujarat University, India and a Master's degree from Stanford University, CA, USA.

In 1978, Mr. Shah started teaching Gujarati, Hindi and Yoga in the United States. Realizing that there were no comprehensive texts written in English available to learn Gujarati and Hindi, he wrote these textbooks. Mr. Shah's goal is to help preserve, protect and propagate the cultural heritage of Gujarat, and of India as a whole.

Mr. Shah credits his success to the fundamental teachings by his parents and Gurus. He considers the real instrument for his motivation and achievements to be the active support given to him by his students, friends, family members and the Indian community at large.

Mr. Shah currently lives in California with his wife, Kirti, and two daughters Krishna and Eesha.
